These single-leaf doors open by sliding to the right or left, with or without integrated heating elements (resistance). As a result, no additional swing space is required during opening and closing, allowing for maximum utilization of the available area.

What is a Sliding Door?

Frigopol Cooling sliding doors are specially designed for shock rooms, controlled atmosphere rooms, monorail cold storage facilities, and industrial warehousing. They operate on a custom sliding rail system, and the door body is produced by injecting 40+2 kg/m³ density polyurethane (PUR) or polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam between two surface plates. This structure ensures high thermal insulation and airtight sealing.

Depending on the application, the door surface material can be selected from the following options:

• PVC coating

• Stainless steel

• Aluminum

All surface materials are corrosion-resistant, hygienic, and long-lasting. Bearings and wheels in the sliding rail system enable smooth movement of the door to either side. Special closing mechanisms and mechanical locking systems ensure complete sealing and operational safety.
